Contact line Whetman equipment

The primary application is a very short quick "contact" towline from a deck line of the rescuer to the bow or deckline of the casualty boat, putting the bow adjacent to the cockpit area of the rescuer.

A diagonal contact across the deck pulls the casualty boat into the side & also offers the quick release to be viewed on the front deck. To activate the quick release pull the cord or pull the webbing tail to release the cam buckle. With a slight applied tension the webbing will then slide through & disconnect the system.one!

A responsive plastic kayak that surfs well for the medium to large sized paddler. The kayak has fairly boxy rails offering good stability. A flattish hull promote better surfing characteristics which also helps in a following sea. The kayak has been designed to fit a range of kayakers from approx 5ft 4inch (162 cm) to 6ft 4inches (193 cm) tall. There is plenty of room for large feet. With the fibreglass cockpit rim a cheaper nylon spray deck can be used.

The kayak is fitted with the High performance glass seat, unless otherwise requested, and offers extra leg room due to a raised areaeither side of the cockpit. The seat can be set higher for a smaller paddler and the raised area in the front deck can be padded if needed. The kayak has a low rear deck for easy rolling, a keyhole cockpit that gives excellent grip, control and allows quick exit if need be. The the foam pillar immediately behind the seat provides additional back support and, together with the closely positioned bulkhead, allows the kayak to be emptied by lifting only the bow, no x-rescue is necessary.

El Romany Classic es un kayak maniobrable, direccionable y estable para el palista de tamaño medio. Diseñado para las aguas movidas y desarrolarse facilmente en condiciones.

Es fácil de controlar con vientos con un poco de aproamiento del kayak incluso con vientos muy fuertes.

El kayak viene con el asiento de alto rendimiento con fibra de vidrio a menos que se pida otra opción. La bañera keyhole proporciona un excelente agarre, control y permite una rapida salida en caso que se necesite. El tabique inclinado de detras del asiento permite vaciar el kayak simplemente levantandolo un poco de proa.
